Estimate allocated diesel freight emissions

Enter carrier-reported diesel litres and the fraction allocated to your shipments. This uses the same fuel-based method as our statement pipeline.

Method: allocated litres × 0.0386 GJ/L × (70.37 combustion + 17.3 upstream kg CO₂-e/GJ). DCCEEW NGA Factors 2026, Table 9.

Limit: an estimate for heavy-duty diesel vehicles, Euro IV or higher. Accuracy depends on carrier fuel data and the allocation fraction. It excludes other modes, warehouses, refrigeration, returns and unladen backhaul.
